Human Ladder

Have participants get in pairs and sit on the ground facing each other with their legs straight out and the bottoms of their feet touching. Have participants hold the poles horizontally with one in each hand. The distance between each pair should be roughly the same length as the pipes. The rest of the team members take turns walking down the ‘ladder’ steps by placing their feet on the pipes and holding the shoulders of the seated people for support. When the walker passes one of the pairs, that pair must get up and move to the front of the line, so that the ladder is constantly moving forward. Set up safety and spotting techniques for this activity before beginning.
